Subscriptions

Information on accessing the various editions of TOS is below. Please note:

  • New issues of TOS are published in March, June, September, and December.
  • All subscriptions include access to the Online edition—including HTML versions of all TOS back issues—during the term of the subscription.
  • Premium subscriptions include access to all editions (excluding the Kindle version, which is offered through Amazon.com).

Online Edition

Subscribers can access our Online edition by logging in and browsing the categories and archives in the left-hand column of our site. New online versions are posted on the 20th of our publication months. Access to the Online edition, including back issue content, is only available during the term of the subscription.

Print Edition

New print issues of TOS are initially mailed in the middle of our publication months. (Although the postal monopoly claims to deliver periodical mail within ten days, it may take up to a month to receive your copy.) If you purchase a print subscription after the initial mailing of the current issue, your copy of the current issue should arrive within two to three weeks.

Audio Edition

To access our Audio edition, log in to your My Account page and click the "My Audio Subscriptions" link on the right-hand side—or simply log in here. New audio versions are posted on the 30th of our publication months. Audio subscriptions begin with the current issue and include access to each issue published during the term of the subscription.

E-book Edition

To access our E-book edition, log in to your My Account page and click the "My E-book Subscriptions" link on the right-hand side—or simply log in here. New E-book versions are posted on the 25th of our publication months. E-book subscriptions begin with the current issue and include access to each issue published during the term of the subscription

Kindle Edition

New issues of the Kindle edition of TOS (offered through Amazon.com) are posted on the 30th of our publication months.
